In Preschool Combo, your child will begin to explore all avenues of dance such as ballet, tap, and jazz in a fun, exploratory environment. Kinder level dancers will start to explore a faster paced class with focus on preparing students for older level classes. Children will continue to use fun props in dancing to their favorite songs, all while teaching beyond basic elements of dance, including faster rhythms, formation changes and vocabulary. These are beginner classes for students with limited experience in the curriculum. Provides the student with complete fundamental training based on traditional dance technique.
We instill a love of dance in children ages 18 months — 12 years. Each class begins with warm-ups and stretching exercises as well as activities that encourage boys and girls to use their imagination. We then introduce ballet, tap, jazz, or hip hop techniques using dance terms and examples to enhance their knowledge of the art. We incorporate our original dance music to further their dance experience.
At Cincinnati Ballet Dance and Fitness, we provide a variety of dance-inspired workouts to help you meet your fitness goals. Adults 18 and up at all levels are welcome to our drop-in classes at our conveniently located downtown center. Come join us! Current students, bring a new friend and you dance for free too! Distinctive and welcoming, the CCM Prep's Dance Program is proud to be housed within one of the few collegiate classical ballet programs in the United States and also the oldest college-affiliated dance program in the country. The philosophy of this program is that every student deserves careful and individualized training from qualified instructors.
